Course Details
Emergency First Aid at Work 6 Hour Level 3 (VTQ) - EFAW
The EFAW qualification covers all the core competencies outlined by the HSE, making it an acceptable workplace first aid certification. Completing this course qualifies you to be an appointed first aider in the workplace. It covers incident procedure, calling the emergency services, recovery position, heart attack, epilepsy, CPR and defibrillator use, choking plus significant bleeding and shock. It complies with the latest UK Resuscitation Council guidelines. It is a hands-on practical course and involves both attending to and being a 'casualty', so please wear comfortable clothing which you don't mind getting a little dirty. Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring your own packed lunch.
