Arrival Please aim to arrive between 08:30 and 08:55. The site is secured, and there is an electric gate which may be closed upon your arrival. A buzzer on the right-hand side will allow you to communicate directly with the gatekeeper, who will then open the electric gate. This is relevant to those intending to access the venue on foot or by vehicle. Parking A spacious car park is available on-site, and any designated parking bays are suitable for use. Signs will guide you to the training room/area. Clothing For First Aid training, comfortable footwear and appropriate attire are recommended, as practical elements, including CPR needs to be conducted. Food/Drink Lunch is not provided on-site or as part of the course. We suggest bringing a packed lunch and snacks to sustain you throughout the training day. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities are available. Nearby shops within walking distance offer additional lunch options from Morrisons or McDonalds. What to bring with you/Prerequisites All attendees must bring: Valid proof of identification, preferably a driving license or passport. Notebook and pen. Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone (Recommended but not essential) We recommend bringing laptops, tablets and smartphones to assist in learning and note-taking. As standard practice we try to remain paper free where we can. This includes final exams and training materials which will be provided digitally. Facilities Training includes a combination of theory via visual presentations and practical exercises utilising first aid disposables, equipment and dummies. Disabled access is available if needed, and free WiFi is provided on-site. Accommodation Should accommodation be required, there are two well-known local hotels nearby, both situated just off the A610, each within a 2 mile commute: Travelodge Mansfield Town Centre – NG18 1BG 281 Hotel & Restaurant – NG18 4SE
