Waterless hand gels are a good way of keeping safe against infection

It’s not always practical to wash your hands. Perhaps you are not near a sink or you just need to wash them frequently. There are several types of gel available, all of which are alcohol based. They come in various sizes, and some actually can clip onto you. This story reported on the BBC shows how following correct procedures can lead to an excellent recovery: An elderly American man has survived being impaled through the eye socket by a pair of pruning shears. Leroy Luetscher, from Green Valley in the state of Arizona, had just finished trimming plants in his back garden when he fell face-first onto his shears, sending one of the handles through his right eye socket and halfway into his head.
