We were already a recognised Skills for Care provider, endorsed for delivering training through e-learning, classroom and blended formats. So this is a great addition!
What does the ‘Centre of Excellence’ endorsement mean?
The Centre of Excellence status means that we have ‘been able to consistently demonstrate an exemplary commitment to meeting the needs of learners in the adult social care sector.’
It also demonstrates that we’re compliant with the social model of care and able to measure the impact of the provision on the lives of people who use these services.
How evidence was processed and reviewed
This endorsement was measured over a period of time and included a cohort of evidence:
- Witness statements
- Feedback forms
- Professional report
A review panel then looks over this information. The panel consists of key stakeholders:
- At least one employer
- Learning and development provider
- End-user
- Carer
- A member of Skills for Care
Following this stringent process, we were appointed this certification.
This proves the consistency of our training services and demonstrates the high standard of teaching present here.
